The following positions use Examination 932:

Electronics Technician 8 (Register Number M26)
Electronics Technician 9 (Register Number M27)
Electronics Technician 10 (Register Number M28)

The examination, which is known as Examination 932, is given to applicants for the above positions. This exam consists of Part I, Following Oral Instructions, and Part II - Multiple Choice Test, which involves basic mechanics, basic electricity, and basic electronics and with the use of hand and portable power tools and test equipment. To study for the exam, see in this postal exam book the following chapters: Who is Qualified to Apply for Exams, pages 5-10; Vocabulary, Spelling, & Reading Comprehension, pages 169-180; Analyzing Examination 710, pages 155-163; and Strategies for Standardized Tests, multiple choice, vocabulary, and solving mathematics problems, pages 253-258.) An applicant’s total qualifications will be evaluated based on the results of the written test and the review panel evaluation.

Part I of the test is known as Following Oral Instructions. All you have to do is to follow instructions. A sample of this part of the test is included in The Book of U.S. Postal Exams.
